They call alcohol “spirits” for a reason. I understand spirits is in reference to hard alcohol but I believe ANY alcohol should be called spirits. I used to drink wine. The more I learn and meditate on His word, the more I realize that, above anything, I want to please God. Putting alcohol in my body in no way honors my Father. I choose not to drink and, yes, those around me have a hard time understanding that. I strive to do God’s will not conform to this world. Great sermon, pastor! I’m thankful I was led to your ministry this morning.

Consistency. Study equips us but new translations think Study means something else nowadays. Really?

I'm not saying the KJV isn't a good translation, I have two of them, a KJV Study bible, and a KJV journaling bible. I like them well enough. BUT the KJV isn't the only version of the Bible, there are older ones, like the Geneva, or the Wyclyffe, The Dead Seas Scrolls, to name a few. Heck, even the KJV that we have today isn't the same as it was back in 1611, it's been revised and updated through out the years. I think you are selling yourselves short by being KJV only, there are other good translations too, ESV, NKJV, CSB (those are the other ones I have, besides my KJV's). True, there are some very garbage translations, I am not a fan of the NIV, or the Inclusive Bible, or the passion translation (the Inclusive Bible and the passion translations are both garbage, and would be better used as examples of what not to read). I tend to stick to the more literal translations (KJV, NKJV, ESV, and CSB) and use them all together. My NKJV is a study bible (the NKJV Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible) My ESV's are the ESV Archaeoligy Study Bible, and the ESV Study Bible (differen't study notes in them) My KJV Study Bible of course, and my CSB Rainbow Study Bible. (No, it's not what you're thinking, this one is different because it has everything highlighted in different colors, broken down into categories and sub categories, and no study notes, and is more useful for topical studies of the Bible). I really do think you guys are selling yourselves short with sticking to KJV only, but that's just my opinion, take it or leave it. I get why some people would find the KJV confusing to read, it's because it's written in Olde English, but I tell them this: If you can understand Shakespeare, you can understand the King James. I happen to like Shakespeare, he's my favorite playwrite, so I have no trouble understanding the KJV. But sometimes I want to read something that isn't Shakespearian in language, hence my other Bibles.

I hope more Pastors start to preach like this. All substance no filler.

Does he know there's actually a slave Bible created to keep slave in bondage? Please inform him that God doesn't need to use killing, rape, and oppression of enslaved to spread the Gospel. Tell him to review Acts 8 which speaks about the conversion of the Ethiopian. His doctrine is crooked, twisted, extremely racist, and condescending. He is no minister. His heart is somewhere else. What is his agenda? Definitely not the message of salvation.

What is the message! Where is his reference to the word of GOD!? I am hearing a lot of “his” opinion! Interesting. I like this pastor. He can be your friend, your good friend, but the truth still comes first. Very very admirable. I like pastor Anderson, the man can preach a quality uplifting honest sermon, but .... I believe the kids, I've listened to them and I believe them. But here is the test for pastor Anderson then, repent of the wrongdoing. If he's as honest as he should be as a pastor, come clean, stop it; and let's all move forward.

You are right in saying that you need to put your whole faith in Jesus Christ, and you are right in saying that good sentiments and good deeds in of themselves are not sufficient to attain Heaven: you couldn’t dream to be saved by works on their own, faith is absolutely necessary. And you are right to say people often are wishy washy and don’t stand firm in what they believe, and that one *must* take a stand of faith. That is why I will tell you as a Catholic, who as such is a Christian by definition, who loves you and desires your good as best as I can, by the grace of God, that you know absolutely nothing about Christ… nor about salvation… nor what the Catholic Church actually believes, if you are honestly claiming that Catholics categorically are damned by virtue of being Catholic. If you believe going to mass, a re-presentation of the once for all sacrifice of Christ on Calvary that we all as Christians profess, let alone actually participating in this mass which is literally in the book of Revelations, is going to send people on a one way ticket to hell… you air know absolutely nothing about Christ, nothing about scripture, and I feel sorry for you… because you don’t realize what you are neglecting. For claiming faith alone saves, you sure seem to believe actions and choices can damn you when someone clearly professes faith in Christ. Amen. I like to remind people that too many of the false religions and teachers of today refuse to acknowledge what the word "gift" means, but only when talking about scripture and salvation. If someone says that our works are also a requirement for obtaining salvation, these people are simultaneously implying that the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is not enough to save, its heretical.

If they are Baptists then they need to become Christians.

Jesus was crowned after his cross. You will not be crowned except you carry your cross. The thief on the cross could not have remained a thief. If he had remained a thief , he would go to hell. Baptist theology is just as bad as Catholicism.
